Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable workflows with automation implementation
- Develop and maintain internal controls for SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Conduct financial audits and support external examinations
- Mentor junior accounting staff through process documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience with financial systems implementation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution industry
