Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes for multiple clients including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary for business owners
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for small to medium-sized enterprises
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and IRS regulations
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software platforms
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax codes, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for client-facing interactions
- Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting for multiple clients
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license highly desirable
