Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance commentary
- Lead internal controls implementation and SOX compliance documentation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and fixed asset management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and Pennsylvania state tax regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff through process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and Pennsylvania tax codes
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder presentations
- Experience with ERP system implementation and process improvement
