Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow operations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Lead audit preparations and collaborate with external auditors
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives across departments
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP and NY financial regulatory requirements
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks) and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing audit processes and compliance documentation
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
