Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy of account balances and reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including timely invoicing and expense processing.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and variance analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and financial software systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
