Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance analysis
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing
- Develop and maintain internal controls for financial reporting compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead audit preparation and documentation for external reviews
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in GAAP standards and SOX compliance
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (PivotTables/VLOOKUP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing accounting teams and mentoring junior staff
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
