Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15+ corporate clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop and implement financial control systems
- Collaborate with audit teams during external reviews
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Expert knowledge of tax preparation for S-Corps and LLCs
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Active New Mexico CPA license required
