Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledgers
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Assist with annual audits and regulatory filings
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for executive leadership
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll systems
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
