Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with GAAP compliance oversight
- Manage complex reconciliations for multi-entity portfolios and investment accounts
- Lead month-end closing processes with accurate journal entries and variance analysis
- Develop and implement internal controls for audit readiness and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Mentor junior accountants while maintaining quality assurance protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep knowledge of oil/gas industry accounting standards and SEC regulations
- Proven track record in audit preparation and compliance documentation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting and presentations
