Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ portfolio clients
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll operations
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Mentor junior accountants on GAAP best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite/Sage)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Valid California CPA license required
