Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Prepare and review complex tax documents ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Lead audits and collaborate with external auditors to ensure accurate financial statements
- Develop and implement internal controls to strengthen financial processes
- Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for client portfolios
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations (IRS, Kansas state)
- Proven experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
