Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with executive-level insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles for 500+ vendors
- Lead internal audits and SOX compliance initiatives
- Develop financial models for strategic forecasting
- Mentor junior accounting staff on GAAP compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Proven track record in SOX compliance and auditing
- Advanced analytical skills with financial modeling experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong leadership experience in team environments
- Active NC CPA license required
