Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance reports, and executive dashboards
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation processes
- Lead internal controls implementation and SOX compliance documentation
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities during examinations
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize departmental workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance and GAAP standards
- Proven ability to lead complex financial projects under tight deadlines
