Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyse financial statements ensuring compliance with UK GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives to support strategic decision-making
- Conduct internal audits and implement robust financial controls
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional certification
- Minimum 5 years' experience in public practice or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and SAP systems
- Expert knowledge of UK tax legislation and HMRC compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
