Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely compliance with UK GAAP
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making
- Lead audit preparations and maintain robust internal control systems
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize financial workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional certification
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a UK-based organization
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and SAP financial modules
- Deep understanding of UK tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to lead complex financial projects
- Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
