Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for 15+ business units
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial planning
- Maintain robust financial controls and documentation systems
- Support external audits and regulatory compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification
- 5+ years of experience in public practice or corporate accounting
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA and Power BI proficiency
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Oracle Financials
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- CISA certification preferred for candidates with audit experience
