Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements and compliance reports for UK regulatory bodies
- Lead financial audits and implement robust internal controls
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent international accounting certification
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in UK financial services
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel (VBA skills desirable)
- Deep understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Proven experience leading audit processes and compliance initiatives
