Responsibilities
- Manage complex financial reporting cycles including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and ensure compliance with UK GAAP
- Lead budgeting processes and provide variance analysis to senior leadership
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes
- Develop financial models and forecasting tools for strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
- Ensure tax compliance and regulatory adherence
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified with 5+ years post-qualification experience
- Proven expertise in UK financial reporting standards and tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (Sage 200/PeopleSoft) and Excel
- Experience managing audit processes and regulatory filings
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- Leadership experience in a corporate environment
