Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Lead month-end closing processes and reconciliations across multiple entities
- Manage VAT returns, payroll processing, and HMRC compliance
- Develop and maintain robust internal financial controls and processes
- Collaborate with auditors during statutory audits and tax filings
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional certification
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in practice or industry
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations
- Experience managing multi-currency transactions and consolidations
- Exceptional attention to detail with analytical problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to lead projects and implement financial systems
