Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee complex multi-currency transactions and ensure compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes while providing variance analysis to senior stakeholders
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial governance and risk mitigation
- Prepare statutory accounts and tax filings with precision and regulatory adherence
- Mentor junior accountants while maintaining a collaborative team culture
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years in practice or industry accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Proven experience managing multi-currency portfolios and international transactions
- Expertise in UK tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in complex financial data
- Strong stakeholder management experience with executive-level communication
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives in finance operations
