Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee VAT returns, tax compliance, and audit preparation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
- Lead process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accounting staff and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in public practice or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in Excel with advanced formulas
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven leadership experience in finance teams
