Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Lead tax compliance initiatives including sales, payroll, and corporate filings
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain meticulous financial records using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle proficiency preferred)
- Conduct audits and provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP platforms
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
- Proven track record of managing high-volume financial operations
- California CPA license required
