Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing and financial reporting
- Lead audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Develop and implement process improvements for financial systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Mentor junior accountants and conduct training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with SOX audits and internal controls
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
