Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable with strict adherence to compliance standards
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights
- Prepare tax documents and ensure regulatory compliance for Missouri-based operations
- Lead audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Enterprise
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Missouri tax regulations
- Proven experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
