Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and local tax filings to ensure full compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and variance analysis to identify financial trends and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date financial records and ensure data integrity across all systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial auditing principles.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
