Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations and month-end closing processes
- Conduct variance analysis and develop actionable financial insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and cash flow management
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Maintain internal controls and implement process improvements
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental heads
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with month-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle beneficial)
