Responsibilities
- Manage month-end/year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations with automation initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Maintain compliance with tax regulations and SOX requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Demonstrated success with complex reconciliations and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
