Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Build lasting relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and answering account inquiries.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet individual and branch sales goals.
- Identify and escalate complex customer issues to branch management or the call center promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and reconcile cash drawer balances at the end of each shift.
- Assist in opening new accounts and explaining banking procedures to new clients.
- Adhere to all federal and state banking regulations and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or prior banking experience is preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience is a strong plus.
- Strong mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily sales targets.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
