Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy and compliance
- Manage vendor payments and resolve payment discrepancies
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers with general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Collaborate with procurement and other departments for invoice processing
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and SOX compliance
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience in corporate settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in high-volume environments
- Professional certification (e.g., CAPP) a plus
