Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow operations
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and recommend actionable insights
- Spearhead audits with external partners and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution industry highly desirable
