Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 mid-sized clients including AR/AP, GL reconciliation, and month-end close
- Prepare complex financial statements (balance sheets, P&L, cash flow) with GAAP compliance
- Conduct comprehensive tax planning and compliance for corporate and individual clients
- Lead internal audits and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Mentor junior accountants and collaborate with cross-functional teams on client deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years public accounting experience
- Active CPA license or CPA candidate with exam completion
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel with VBA skills
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-state tax compliance and SaaS industry accounting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
