We're seeking a meticulous Senior Accountant to drive accurate financial reporting and strategic decision-making. In this role, you'll be instrumental in maintaining our clients' fiscal health while working in our state-of-the-art downtown San Francisco office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage complex general ledger operations and account reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Lead quarterly and annual audit processes with external partners
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Implement process improvements using accounting automation tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record in multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with SaaS or tech industry accounting a plus
