Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with precision
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and tax filings
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting efficiency
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-departmental financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or corporate sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in multi-location financial consolidation
