Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliation, financial reporting, and month-end closes
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Prepare and file tax documents while optimizing tax strategies
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-departmental financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and internal controls
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
