Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and corporate clients
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with evolving regulations
- Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive communication
- Collaborate with senior advisors on complex tax planning strategies
- Utilize tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Lacerte) for accurate return processing
- Review and verify financial statements for tax implications
- Stay current with tax law changes through continuous professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification or active pursuit required
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience (public or corporate)
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
