Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Prepare and submit accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows
- Lead internal audits and ensure adherence to SOX compliance requirements
- Maintain and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Support budgeting processes and variance analysis for strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation strongly preferred
- Expert proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting and analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present financial data clearly
- Experience with remote team collaboration tools (Slack, Asana)
