Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and support external auditors during audits.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed reporting to the finance leadership team.
- Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Process payroll and manage employee expense reports accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting with high self-discipline.
