Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit deductions accurately
- Respond to payroll inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly/annual reports
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state knowledge
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or QuickBooks Payroll certification preferred
- Strong understanding of FLSA, IRS, and Virginia payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with data analysis capabilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
