Responsibilities
- Process and distribute bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees across multiple states
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (CA, federal, multi-state)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments through ADP Workforce Now
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies with 99.9% accuracy
- Prepare and submit quarterly tax filings and year-end W-2s
- Collaborate with HR and accounting teams on payroll-related projects
- Document and implement payroll process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or comparable payroll systems
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of CA labor laws and federal FLSA requirements
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
