Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes (FINRA, SEC, CFTC) to update compliance policies
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for financial operations
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for staff
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations with documented corrective actions
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for executive stakeholders and regulators
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies
- Advise business units on regulatory requirements and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of compliance experience in financial services
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or equivalent designation
- Proficiency with compliance management software (e.g., MetricStream, OneTrust)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory nuances
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Colorado state financial regulations
