Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and collateral to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for loan approval decisions
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to establish and maintain credit policies
- Conduct industry research to support risk assessments and market trend analysis
- Document all credit analysis activities in compliance with regulatory standards
- Present findings to senior management through clear, data-driven reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel financial modeling and data analysis tools
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, ratio calculations, and industry benchmarks
- Knowledge of credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks
- Certifications (CFA, CRCM) or equivalent experience preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent written communication skills for remote collaboration
