Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports.
- Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax reports.
- Assist with year-end financial audits and tax preparation support.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax principles.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
