Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, journal entries, and monthly financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and government reporting.
- Process payroll for multiple clients, ensuring timely and compliant disbursements.
- Review and approve invoices, expense reports, and vendor contracts.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal processes and financial forecasting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Experience with payroll processing (ADP, Gusto, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
