Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly with 100% accuracy.
- Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax form preparation (1099s/W-2s).
- Maintain accurate and organized digital filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online or Xero is a must).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Must have a stable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
