Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monthly financial statement preparation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including financial reporting.
- Process invoices, track expenses, and reconcile credit card statements.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to resolve accounting discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with payroll processing is highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
