Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization in compliance with company policies.
- Manage the entire accounts payable cycle, including data entry, coding, and batch processing.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors to address billing inquiries.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Maintain and update the accounts payable general ledger and vendor master files.
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) to manage financial transactions.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or related finance roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is highly preferred.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
