Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately and timely process high volumes of invoices through ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP) while adhering to company approval workflows.
- Vendor Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate vendor master data.
- Payment Execution: Schedule and process payments via ACH, wire transfers, and checks, ensuring compliance with payment terms and internal controls.
- Expense Management: Review and approve employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with corporate policy and proper coding.
- Reporting: Assist in the month-end close process by generating AP aging reports and providing variance analysis to the Finance Manager.
- Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor billing inquiries, building strong relationships and resolving payment issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger, or a related financial function.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and a keen eye for identifying errors or irregularities in financial records.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
