Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will play a key role in the financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports to assist in decision-making.
- Assist with payroll processing to ensure weekly accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure all financial records are up-to-date and in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and budget management.
- Prepare and file necessary tax documentation as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and general ledger functions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
