Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring all financial reports are accurate and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow statements.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation filings in compliance with US GAAP and local regulations.
- Process and monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are paid correctly and all payments are collected promptly.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or ERP systems) to manage financial data and generate reports.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to management to drive business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or NetSuite.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws, payroll regulations, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
