Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and general ledger account reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting initiatives.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity within our accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and time management.
